Quick, name which country of the world the island of Lanai is on? Did you guess that it was a Hawaiian island in the U.S. of A.? And did you know that it’s owned by Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle? Unless you followed my recent trip there on Instagram and Twitter, then this is probably new information to you, since most people who vacation to Hawaii are likely looking at the bigger islands, such as Oahu, Maui, and Hawaiʻi, the Big Island. Lanai is the sixth largest Hawaiian island, accessible by either ferry (from Maui, as you can see the island from Lahaina) or plane, but with just three hotels (two of which are Four Seasons properties), the island doesn’t exactly have the same offerings as the other islands. Outside of the Four Seasons, the only other franchise is Dollar Rent A Car. However, I’d rather not bore you with trivia about the beautiful island of Lanai when I can just show you the beautiful island of Lanai in photos.
